Athletics Program Overview

 River City Christian School is a member of the Texas Christian Athletic League and offers an athletic program to the middle and high school students.

River City Christian School colors are purple and gold. The Crusader is the school mascot; which represents our position as warriors with Christ. "Finally, be strong in the Lord and in his mighty power. Put on the full armor of God . . ." Ephesians 6:10-11

River City Christian School's vision for the athletic department is to provide a complete program where the middle and high school students have the opportunity to experience the joy of team and individual competition in a Christ-centered environment. River City Christian School believes that participation in competitive sports allows students to develop in areas such as self-confidence, self-control, discipline, determination, respect and leadership.

History & Mission

River City Christian School's athletic department began in 2002 with a two-fold mission:

1. To utilize athletics as an evangelistic and discipleship tool directed to athletes, parents and competitors
2. To build self-esteem, implement leadership skills and develop Christ-like character through the participation of competitive sports

 Booster Club

 The River City Christian School Booster Club is responsible for planning the school's Homecoming and Sports Banquet each year. Parent volunteers are always welcome and encouraged to join and support our athletes.
