Math Attack is a multi-sensory approach to enrich and remediate math skills that can be utilized for 1st - 12th grade. The program uses popular math manipulatives such as counters, base ten blocks, geoboards, and pattern blocks.
Math Attack develops thinking skills while still focusing on basic computational skills in order to prepare students for the future. Concepts are developed at the concrete level to help fill the developmental gaps in the student's abstract knowledge of mathematics. Students are able to apply their mathematical knowledge to problem solving situations.
Students develop visual memory through use of special exercises. Basic math facts are mastered by sight and visual discrimination skills are emphasized as children proof their own work.
